New MP3 link

I have created a new mp3 file that goes into the concepts I use about abundance, acceptance and application. There are so many opportunities in the markets if you are willing to get into the market flow and not have expectations or any pre conceived notions about what a stock may do.

In this mp3 I have tried to present it in a form that uses relaxation and meditation techniques. Concepts like this have benefited me immensely. They help me get into a zone of 100% concentration. You have seen the results. So give it a chance to work for you too.

Find a place and time that is quiet and comfortable as this file is about 18 minutes in length. You can download it here, free. Enjoy...

Thank you for the guided meditation, I was looking for something exactly like that. I now feel alive and refreshed on an otherwise groggy Saturday afternoon.

What a day on Friday huh? This last week concluded my two month paper trading stint, and many winning trades later I feel ready, confident, and humble. It's funny I had a trade on Friday where I went in, it went in my favor, then I moved the stop to break even, so you think I could relax. But no, I still experienced an intense uneasiness. I really think this will become more manageable with more frequent meditation. Regardless, I've pulled out two decent days thus far. Keep rocking out as usual and the new blog looks great btw.

Thanks for this Scott.

Going to make it a habit - and this coming from a dubious initial reaction.

Hope your weekend is relaxing.

Dtf- it may not be for everyone, so only use it if it helps.
Not many certainties in trading but here is one, consistent success does not come from watching CNBC, it comes from within yourself. This little file can expose the listener to some different techniques to learn how to channel into their concentration and perhaps get them thinking on a different plane, much different than the commonly held "trading is like warfare" dimension.

Scott,

Just wanted to express my thanks for the new guided meditation. This is the best one yet. I am making a commitment to listen to it consistently every morning over the next 30 days. Keep up the great work, love the new blog layout.

Scott,
What is the music you play in the background? I like it very much. Looking to record my own set of affirmations and would like this as background music. Thanks...

sean- that is an excellent idea to do your own affirmations that way you can listen to your own voice telling you what to do.
the music is here

the artist is Jivan Gasparyan
put your mp3 player on repeat and listen to it all night long , thats what i do. that way it is drilled into your subconscious. when your subconscious controls your trading actions in the correct way you simply cannot act any other way except the right way.
write your affirmations out in such a way as it is all in the positive sense. for example say " I will exit unprofitable trades immediately" instead of 'don't average down" because your brain will respond to the words "average down". i should probably re record my affirmations to reflect this concept.

Scott- thanks for the link, what a beautiful song. It's very interesting you mention keeping affirmations positive. I'm currently reading a book on the subconscious mind and I just finished a part saying the same thing. I've had this awareness for a while that I seem to end up always breaking some of my rules that I'm deliberately "not" trying to break, it's been a cycle for a while. I've been trying to figure out "why" but I guess that is not important, only the fact that it does happen and how do you learn to use that knowledge.
