Lots of dead links after 3 years away so here are updates starting with the easy ones. I will redo and also expand the affirmations shortly.

Revived the blogs
I've had many requests during the last 3 years to reopen both blogs from new and experienced traders alike, so I have finally decided to do so.
Here's my other blog http://fearandgreedtrader.blogspot.ca/
There's a ton of information contained on these pages regarding gaining the edge needed to understand and compete.Thought provoking articles that make you ponder your psyche and question who you are and what may be holding you back to becoming the kind of successful trader that you seek to become. Pathways to insight into yourself and your way of thinking and solutions to implement to gain a positive edge on your way to trading enlightenment. It will serve you better than any fancy new indicator can because it ties together your method and ultimately activates the buy or sell button inside your head.
Many links on these pages are probably dead now, so I may update the affirmations, add more, expand on articles, maybe offer webinars, and mentoring. We'll see how it all goes.
The past three years away from trading has marked the most difficult period of my life with some huge personal challenges put on me. Certainly not in a right minded frame of mind to be trading. But time heals, now I'm back... Here is a favorite quote that sums it up:
"Where there is life, there is hope. Where there are hopes, there are dreams. Where there are vivid dreams repeated, they become goals. Goals become the action plans and game plans that winners dwell on in intricate detail, knowing that achievement is almost automatic when the goal becomes an inner commitment. The response to the challenges of life—purpose—is the healing balm that enables each of us to face up to adversity and strife."

Where's Bankrobber?

Maybe you care, maybe not. Anyway I've not been trading.
I was made an offer I couldn't refuse to build another factory, well actually take over a floundering one, fire most everyone, design and supervise the build of a new one. Mechanical, electrical, air systems, structural on 4 new production lines.
It's fun to spend other peoples $millions like it's going out of style and it's been a very, very big challenge to get things this far.
Photos show what it was and now what it's turning out to be.
Can't wait to finish it, turn the keys over so to speak, get back to BC, relax and not have to deal with people. I miss being in my peaceful trading cave!

Opportunity
I'm stating the obvious in saying there is tremendous opportunity in the way the markets are plunging. I wrote many helpful articles during the plunge of 2008 that should be useful if the markets behave the same way. To recap some basic tenants of my trading philosophy:
- Concentrate, focus, know yourself and your limits.
- Concentrate, focus, know yourself and your limits.
- Keep things simple.
- Go with the flow.
- Take profits when you'd be crazy not to.
- Press your advantage to an almost reckless level when you are in sync.
- There is no limit to where prices can go. Up, Down or bounce. Think 1000 point days on the Dow.
- Cut losers ultra fast.
- Pare your plays down to 2 or 3 at a time and trade big size.
- Momentum is king, fundamentals are meaningless, technical levels are of little use.
In times like these, more money will fly into your account than years trading a grinding market. Don't think you are smarter than the market if you are wildly successful - it is just the conditions that making it appear so. Be humble and give something back to those less fortunate than you.
Happy trading.
