Hey i wanted to see what you have been up to. I also wanted to let you know the markets have been quite "choppy" lately, and as momentum has been present, it has been very limited. I just wanted to know how you would approach a choppy summer like this. Do you have patience and wait for the right momentum trades to come to you, or do you adapt and use methods to play a "choppy" market. I myself hate trying to scalp chop, and perfer to wait for the better momo setups to come, even though they have been scarce lately.

Dont know if you are even still around, but I just had to send you a message. I have been trading since 2008, I have read 100's of blogs and books. Ive talked with many traders and study this game day in and day out. I have never seen or read a blog more true and as powerful as yours. I found it yesterday and did not leave my desk until I read everyone of your posts. Just wanted to say thanks for all the great info!

Alex, I haven't logged in here for a couple of months so I didn't realize there was a few pending comments here. Thanks for your comments.
The difference between my site and others that you may have read is that most of them are trying to sell you something, I think it all comes down to something that is inside you that you can bring out by mental exercises.
Its a simple game once you can cut out all the BS associated with it.

Adam,
If the markets are choppy then you always have the option to choose not to trade them and wait for a more lucrative time to return, that's what I'm doing.
When the markets are hot either long or short then its easier to make big money without hardly trying.

Right- I've read every "best of blog" post of the FNG blog.

Bookmarked and extracted all the information relative to my struggle, paying particular attention to trading affirmations (I have mine written based on what I learned through those posts and what I think needs reinforcing...recording them tomorrow) and visualisation and/or preparation.

I've got an edge. I know exactly how to use it. Now to close the gap between what I perceive and what I actually take part in.

PS Your daughter must be about 8 or 9 now! Hope you are all well? I read the post regarding her being your trading partner in 10 years...only 3 left to go ;).
