First of all, thanks for sharing your blog, it has been instrumental in my development as a trader. I have a few general questions. On a typical active trading day, how many round trip trades are you doing? Also, what's your typical win/loss ratio? Thanks for your time.
bct- no, I went skiing. sam- nowadays its about 30 or so. when the markets are active like in 2008, its 3x that. i can "guess" correctly between 100% and 50%. about 8 1/2 out of 10 is number i can generate consistently if the markets are active and not choppy.
I "guess" the 8.5/10 are shocking for the most people :) In '08 I would have said around 75%, nowadays I wasnt quite shure but it looks like nothing has changed.
max- if I count the times I double or triple up on winners, I can reach that 8 1/2%. even if a trader cuts losses quickly, a 50% win rate can make you good money.
