Targets of opportunities

While the markets sort themselves or pile on more trickery be ready for what I call targets of opportunity.
Obvious weakness in APA leads me to join in the short party.

Well I don't need an engraved invitation to say take the money and run a few minutes later.
Cover APA

Hi, I've think that you've played stock patterns similar to ME for the bounce entering at the tail in the past … I've been taught to enter at the 2 & or 5min trigger, could you kindly tell me what signs to look for to buy into the tail? Thanks

Wow... as I was about to send this to you, I see did APA, the same pattern…ehehhehehe

Compliments of the New Highs/New Lows indicator?

TG- its purely a feeling thing. i can't really define it more than to say as it makes a few sharp and fast moves to the downside, in this case several dollars lower, I will tend to take those profits, cover and go long, placing a stop just under the low. knowing when is something I used to try and figure out but stopped because every trade is different and thus a hard and fast rule is pointless. other than to say when it stops dropping, that is the time to get in. Sounds pretty obvious i know but think about a bouncing ball. down it goes until it stops and then there is a brief moment that it is stationary after which is rebounds higher. stocks act like that as well. i definately dont like to wait. the moment i sense it is slowing down is when i'm playing the probability of a bounce so i position myself accordingly. if i'm wrong the loss is small and quick, if i'm right i have a huge jump on the crowd and am never threatened. APA bounced about the same it dropped so probabilities played themselves out in this instance.
